On the 12th of August 2017, Free Your Mind’s team of Ambassadors and supporters will be taking on a sponsored 5K walk through the City of London.

The walk, starting at City Hall, is to raise awareness of Childhood Domestic Violence – walking in memory of those we have lost to the violence and also to raise funds to keep our vital work to support children and young people affected.

Free Your Mind is Child Domestic Violence and Mental Heath support, awareness and support service, providing the tools, support and community to help people rebuild their sense of self, and to empower them by teaching and advocating self-care and helping them to share their experience.

Free Your Mind | Hear My Voice - Childhood Domestic Violence Walk

Childhood Domestic Violence affects 1.8 million children in the UK alone and 1 in 3 will have a mental illness as a result of the trauma.

By partaking in this walk, you have agreed to help is to fundraise, please get your family and friends to sponsor you for the walk.

Last year, 30 of us took on the walk and raised nearly £500 pounds and we want to raise more awareness and funds this year by making it bigger and better and you can be a part of that!

We are walking so no child affected by domestic violence has to live their adult life trying to recover from it. Sign up here!
