The foundations of the UK SAYS NO MORE campaign are based upon the creation of partnerships. We’re proud to work alongside such a unique range of organisations, including other charities and non-profits who have the same values and aims as us – to see and end to domestic abuse and sexual violence once and for all. As such, we’re more than pleased to announce our latest partnership with Stay Brave.

In their own words…

About Stay Brave…

Stay Brave is a young charity taking a modern approach to abuse and exploitation prevention.

We were established in 2014 by Alexander Morgan – a survivor of sexual assault, former sex worker and victim of sexual exploitation – who wanted to confront the lack of support available to him when he reached out for support, and to work towards ensuring that timely and specialist services for victims and survivors of abuse are accessible for all.

What we do…

At Stay Brave, our focus is on campaigning and affecting change that has the power to positively impact legislation and society at large by amplifying the voices of survivors. We act on behalf of all survivors and want to see better policies developed to protect individuals from abuse and ensure that all survivors have access to the services they need, regardless of factors such as age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity or culture.

Alongside campaigning and digital awareness projects, each year Stay Brave hosts Walking Brave – a 10 mile walk across London to symbolise what it’s like for survivors to ask for help. Setting out on this walk is something that might seem easy, but takes an amazing amount of courage to start out and see it through. Joining us on this annual challenge are survivors and Stay Brave supporters, all of whom are uniting and increasing their visibility to show victims and survivors everywhere that they are not alone.

One recent Walking Brave participant, Finlay, has said that he walks with Stay Brave, and ‘will continue on walking, until no survivor of intimate abuse is any longer forced to be brave and go it alone. […] The emotional and physical after-effects of intimate abuse don’t just “get better” on their own.’

What UK SAYS NO MORE means to us…

Stay Brave is excited to have joined a movement working to unite and strengthen the message of the devastating impacts of abuse across such a wide and diverse community of organisations, corporations and individuals. The UK SAYS NO MORE campaign is a wonderful opportunity to join together to challenge the myths that perpetuate interpersonal violence and abuse, and work together to take a stand and say ‘No More’ – we are proud to be involved and look forward to the future.
